Medical services in TRNC differ from most of mainland Europe, Doctors in TRNC do not keep central records of current and previous ailments and medications, and you cannot register with a single doctor or dentist. You pay per appoitment at both doctors and dentists, but the fees are considerably cheaper than elsewhere in Europe. You pay for all your medication at a chemist and many things are available off the shelf, without the necessity of having to go to a doctor.
